Let's Make Frozen Pumpkin Support Treats!
Hi! Welcome to Lucy's Kitchen! 🐶
Introducing our frozen pumpkin treats for dogs, packed with benefits designed for a purpose. Our frozen pumpkin treats are made even more special with the addition of our Pumpkin Pouch Skin + Coat Support Supplements. This topper is like a superhero cape for your dog's skin and coat. It's perfect for the dreaded flea & tick season and can help maintain a healthy coat all year round. Say goodbye to itchy skin and hello to a shiny, luscious coat!
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp Pumpkin Pouch Skin + Coat Support Supplements
- 2 tbsp water
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
Directions:
- First, get your silicone mold, I like these dog paw molds or a regular ice cube tray. Make sure to choose molds that will make treats appropriate to your dog’s size.
- If you’re using silicone molds, place it on a baking sheet to make transferring to the freezer easier.
- Next, add the water to the Pumpkin Pouch to rehydrate.
- Then add the unsweetened applesauce and pumpkin puree. Mix well.
- Then, carefully pour or spoon the mixture into your chosen mold or tray. Keep in mind, you don’t want to overfill the cavities to maintain a neat treat shape.
- Tap the mold gently on the counter to remove any air bubbles and to ensure the mixture is evenly spread.
- Finally, place the filled mold or tray into the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until the treats are completely frozen. I like to leave mine overnight just to make sure they are frozen completely.
- Once the treats are fully frozen, take them out of the freezer and pop them out of the mold or tray.
- Then let your dog enjoy this frozen treat.
