We have all been hearing the amazing stories of pet shelters being emptied and the increased number of pet adoptions. Yesterday, our best friends surprised their girls with the news they too are rescuing an adorable dog named Clark! What makes this even more special is, both of them are Front Line Responders. Kevin is a firefighter and Kristen is a nurse plus they also have their own small business, www.J5firelids.com. While working to help keep everyone safe during this difficult time, Kristen has been searching for weeks to save the life of a pup in need. After many applications, they found Clark and he couldn’t be more perfect! The Merkhs are the hardest working and most caring people we know so we can’t be more excited for Clark to join his forever family.

Who: Front Line Responders defined as Medical (Paramedics, Doctors, Nurses, Hospital and Medical Staff), Fire Fighters or Police Officers.
